As far back as I can remember, I have always loved to do two things the most...sing songs and create art in one form or another!
So, after high school and many singing lessons later... I studied at The School of Visual Arts and The Art Students League both in NYC, and then landed into the field of graphic design for 10 years.
Finally I met my best friend for life and had a baby girl. I began my own little business making baby quilts and children's clothing until my daughter grew older... then I wanted a new adventure!
After collecting so many beautiful art cards over the years, and enjoying making my own collage designs as a mixed media artist, I decided to create a line of greeting cards and thought that would be pretty cool!
And so, came the passion and inspiration in 2003 for my own company which I called "With Heart By Hand". Starting out with a very unique line of art cards, I expanded by offering other coordinating gift items which also display my collages.
I am always working on creating new ideas and applications for my
designs.
I try to evoke a feeling of tranquility, beauty and lots of whimsy in my collages, and it is very fulfilling to know that somewhere I am always making someone smile everyday!
My other passions include fiberarts, quilting, painting, woodworking, gardening and singing... of course!
My work is now featured in many craft galleries, bookshops, museums and boutiques throughout the country and abroad.
I currently work out of my home studio in Connecticut, where I enjoy singing everyday...
